We have fallen into the place

 where everything

is music.

Beneath the rhythm of the breath, almost too subtle to perceive, lies the cranial rhythm. Expanding and receding like the motion of the tides, it echoes the cycles of life. The cranio-sacral system consists of the membranes and fluid that surround the brain and spinal chord. It extends from the bones of the skull, face and mouth to the sacrum, or tailbone. This vital mechanism can both influence and be influenced by all the systems of the body.

Imbalances, which may be involved in any manner of dis-ease can be addressed with gentle holding of the cranial bones and connective tissues. The dynamics that occur during a cranial session are born of communication through touch, with intuition, with reverence and with respect. Trust becomes knowing.  Both patient and practitioner witness the body’s self-corrective mechanism. Ease of restriction and improved function result from this sacred work.
