Movement provides the opportunity whereby healthcare becomes part of a self directed exploration. Cathy’s teaching is influenced by the Iyengar yoga tradition, by her training and experience as a practitioner, and by her personal meditation and Life force energy practices. She promotes healthy spinal movement and explores balance through the practice of classic yoga postures called asanas, breathing awareness., and guided meditations. Emphasis is on safe practice, providing a solid basis for beginners, and a supportive environment for those healing from injury, or working with postural rehabilitation. Cathy’s goal is to guide students to build trust in their bodies’ inherent wisdom.
